Ed Crane, PhD. is a monitor and evaluation (M&E) specialist for large-scale projects. He designed and implemented M&E for USAID ARD DSSP (Decision Support Services Project) for the Parliament of Egypt, implemented M&E for USAID in Bosnia, and has worked in similar positions in Russia, Romania, South Africa, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Poland, and others. He will be the M&E technical assistant.

Dan Duster is a professional and certified facilitator and diversity trainer working with a wide range of clients such as public and private elementary and high schools, corporations, non-profits, and a host of others. He was a founder of the Ida B. Wells Foundation to help Black youth. Ida B. Wells was his grandmother. He has a BA in Finance from the University of Illinois.

Douglas Hall is an international accountant, who received his education in the U.K. and was born in Zimbabwe. He has worked extensively in both for-profit and non-profit work in Africa, Canada. United Kingdom, and the United States including contract/grant work with many multinational donors.

Stephanie Holmes currently works as an internal consultant for Oregon’s Department of Human Services (DHS).  The DHS mission is to assist people to become “healthy, independent and safe.” Her work in Oregon includes facilitating strategic planning, performance measurement, policy development, improvement efforts, workforce management and leadership development. She draws upon numerous facilitation methods including TOP (Technology of Participation) and Dynamic Facilitation.  She finds inspiration and practical wisdom in yoga philosophy, diverse religious traditions and a childhood in rural Alaska - where one learns the value of resourcefulness, partnership and generosity. Her training, devotion to public service and the intended results of government services has led her to work as legislative committee counsel, lobbyist, campaign grassroots organizer, campaign manager, and coordinator of a public safety coalition.   She is an associate of International Consultants and Associates (IC&A).

George Packard was a master, certified leadership facilitator and trainer for 25 years with the Institute of Cultural Affairs, and is now an associate with International Consultants and Associates (IC&A).  He has been working with MSH and Global Health Leadership for five years. George was a founding member of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF).

David Perez has a MBA from the University of Southern California in Business Administration and Marketing and a BA in Economics from Pomona College. He is also a professional, certified translator for the Los Angeles Superior Court in English, Spanish, and French.

Janet Sanders is an effective facilitator, program designer, project manager and trainer with 20 years international experience in the Institute of Cultural Affairs, including 16 years consulting experiences in strategic planning and policy development and 12 assignments with the UNDP. She is a citizen of Canada.

Jane Stallman is the President of Stallman Communications, and is a founder and senior partner at the Center for Strategic Facilitation. She has worked with several health and human services organizations including SAMSA and the HIV/AIDS Bureau of HSS. She has designed and facilitated two federal conferences related to issues affecting severely chronically mentally ill and homeless persons. She has a Masters Degree in Urban Studies and is a certified facilitator.

Dr. Ralph F. Stroup is a Board Certified Urologist with over 35 years of clinical experience in  New Haven, CT .   He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Surgery(Urology) at the Yale School of Medicine.  In his retirement years he has been active as a reader for Recordings for the Blind and Dyslexic in New Haven, CT,  and has participated in a workshop on "Sexuality and Aging" at Southern Conn. State University, and been involved in fundraising for several non-profits.  He has taught Urology related topics to medical students, interns, and residents at Yale-New Haven Hospital throughout his medical career, and at the current time, Dr. Stroup is involved in several health care initiatives in Kenya.


Jim Wiegel is a certified facilitator in the ToP methodology and has been a senior staff member of the Institute of Cultural Affairs for 25 years.
