Management Sciences for Health (MSH), Boston, MA.
Health program managers everywhere grapple with the same challenges: Tackling complex health problems with limited resources. Defining priorities. Inspiring staff. Initiating change and quality control. Demonstrating measurable results.
Managers Who Lead, a MSH program and publication, empowers health managers at all levels of an organization to lead teams to face challenges and achieve results. It answers questions such as: How can I lead and manage more effectively? How do I create a shared vision and a clear path for achieving it? What can I do to improve our work climate while achieving quality processing and change? How can I prepare myself and others for higher levels of responsibility? How do I lead change inside and outside my organization?
Management Sciences for Health has been developing managers who lead, in more than 100 countries, since 1971. By collaborating with health program managers, MSH contributes to building the skills of individual managers and the capacity of organizations. They work closely with policy makers, health professionals, and health care consumers to improve the quality, availability, and affordability of health sciences – their programs teach managers to lead change and improve health care.
IIn 2007, MSH partnered with International Consultants and Associates (IC&A) and trained/certified our consultants and associates in the MSH leadership program. This powerhouse collaboration has proved very successful since it combines the facilitation skills of IC&A personnel with the MSH health leadership and management training. A list of these MSH trained consultants is attached.
